The Float-A-Lyzer is a unique, floatable, ready-to-use dialysis tube for six sample sizes: 300µL, 500µL, 1mL, 3mL, 5mL, and 10mL. Each presealed dialysis membrane tubing is attached to a color-coded floatable cap, and features an innovative Spectra/Por Biotech membrane with 13 choices of molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) for all types of separation applications. High-purity membranes yield excellent sample recovery for biological samples, such as proteins, peptides, antibodies, and DNA. The Float-A-Lyzer makes purification methods, such as removing small molecular-weight contaminants, desalting, buffer exchange, and concentration quick and easy.
The floatable cap makes it easy to load and recover the sample with the provided pipet, as well as offering easy access to the sample during dialysis. The danger of puncturing the membrane with hypodermic needles or syringes is eliminated. Multiple Float-A-Lyzers can be simultaneously dialyzed in one reservoir.
Each tube is packed wet individually in 0.1% hydrogen peroxide preservative. Just rinse the tube in distilled water before using. Available with cellulose ester (CE) or regenerative cellulose (RC) membranes.
